Sample Language for a Bequest

I give, devise and bequeath to Glenwood School, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with campuses in Glenwood and St. Charles and having its administrative offices in the Village of Glenwood, County of Cook, State of Illinois, the sum of $______________or a ________% of my residuary estate. I direct that this gift be used to support Glenwood School’s general operating fund where the need is greatest.

Glenwood School is a qualified 501(c) (3) and tax-exempt charitable organization.
